Little Brother is a Hip Hop group that consisted of 3 members. Phonte, Big Pooh, and 9th Wonder. 9th Wonder left the group before they recorded "The GetBack". The Group hails from the southern state of North Carolina, and met while attending North Carolina Central University in 1998. At the time they formed a group which they called The Justus League and would later become what today is Little Brother. The group dropped their first album The Listening in 2003, after hearing this LP it showed that the south still had great hip hop. Little Brother are known for their jazzy, loopy beats and slick metaphors. Little Brother later realesed "The Minstrel Show"(2005) and "Getback"(2007) and a mixtape in 2008.
