Beaches , sun, Everglades , are what come to mind when you ask someone about South Florida, and if you were to ask them about our music, bass music would probably be their first thought. We found a young MC who brings lyricism and versatile flows to the Fort Lauderdale hip hop scene. Joshua Rivas who goes by the name JR inked his first recording deal last year and will be taking the SoFlo scene by storm so we thought we'd give you a preview of what will be invading the streets. JR's strength lies in raw lyricism and his ability to appear on all different types of beats.
